What’s Included

Accommodation? Check! Activities? Yep. Guides? Of course! Meals? We threw in a bunch to keep you going!

We’ve got you covered 😉

Bangkok: Day 1-3

We’ll pick you up from the airport and get you introduced to your new travel family before getting stuck into temples, tuk tuk’s and local floating markets in the heart of the city. If you’re a foodie then you’ll fall in love with the streets of Bangkok as we take you to all our favourite spots. By night we hit the infamous Khao San Road for crazy nightlife!

Khao Sok National Park: Day 4

You can’t travel Thailand without visiting this hidden little gem! Khao Sok is our favourite spot in Asia by far. We arrive by traditional longtail boat, stay overnight in floating raft houses and take a moment with a tube & a beer to reflect on how insane this place is! For sunset we grab a kayak in search of monkeys… ‘Shhh…they can hear you’ 🙊

Krabi: Days 5-6

We say goodbye to the jungle and hello to the white beaches and crystal clear waters of south Thailand. We’ll have time to chill by the pool before climbing to the famous Tiger Cave Temple. By night we hit the streets of Ao Nang in search of live music and ladyboy shows. What better way to dust off your hangover than with some beach time...hello Railay Beach!

Koh Phi Phi: Days 7-8

This is the part of the trip that most of you have been waiting for...Island Hopping in Koh Phi Phi! Well guess what, this place doesn’t disappoint...sunsets, snorkeling, beautiful beaches, bucket bars and fire shows. Your time on Phi Phi will be one you won’t forget!

Chiang Mai: Days 9-10

It looks like you made the right decision and decided to join us on our 15 day Thailand trip. This is where the adventure really does begin with night markets and authentic cooking classes in the rice fields. Our local legend will have you all cooking up a storm!

Pai: Days 11-13

A quiet little spot in the mountains, Pai is a travellers favourite for good reason! This town is full of local hippies and chilled vibes. Our time here is pretty awesome with Muay Thai, sunset river tubing, natural hot springs and of course the insta-worthy bamboo bridge. By evening we head out to the local farmers market and try some of Thailand's best street food.

Chiang Mai: Days 14

It’s not everyday you get the opportunity to tick off a bucket list experience...did someone mention kisses and cuddles with cute little elephants?! An experience very close to our hearts, these sacred incredible animals will have tears running down your cheeks. We learn about the history & cultural significance of these amazing animals before taking a dip in the waterfall. Often the gentle giants join us for a swim to cool down!

Hanoi: Day 15-16

Today we say a sad goodbye to Thailand and hello to the amazing Vietnam for the next part of our big Asian adventure*. There is no better way to get settled in then a walking tour through the narrow streets and tasting some of the local flavours. Once we’ve stuffed our faces it’s time to jump on our 3 wheeled rickshaws to explore the rest. By night we head to ‘Beer Street’, grab a stool and see where this crazy city takes us!

*Flights from Chiang Mai - Hanoi not included as part of the tour price.

Ha Long Bay: Day 17

Today we jump aboard a traditional Junk Boat and cruise through 1 of the 7 natural wonders of the world - Ha Long Bay. Once all settled in, we enjoy lunch with the most incredible views...just epic! This afternoon we adventure through caves on kayaks and cool off with a swim before sipping cocktails for sunset 🌅

Ninh Binh: Day 18-19

We wake up onboard before adventuring further off the beaten track to Ninh Binh - home of the recent King Kong movie ‘Skull Island’. Allow us to introduce you to our local friends at our family homestay...it doesn’t get much more local than this! Day 5 is an adventure cycling through the untouched countryside, cruising on traditional paddle boats & 360 views of the Ninh Binh Valley from the Dragon Mountain.

Hue: Day 20

We spend our short time in Hue visiting the poorer more rural communities, our vietnamese guide educates us on local life and gives us an insight into the work that we are doing at Feel Free Travel to support children in these areas and their education. Hue is the cultural centre of Vietnam and the gateway to the most iconic road in Vietnam - the Hai Van Pass. We cruise the pass taking in the mountain views and stopping at some of our favourite spots to cool off.

Hoi An: Day 21-23

Welcome to one of our favorite spots in South East Asia. Our time in Hoi An will be filled with a cooking class on the river, spinning around in bamboo basket boats, making your own lantern, enjoying some chill time on the beach or even visiting a local tailor to get some super cheap clothes made! The lantern city will steal your hearts with jaw dropping beauty and artsy vibes.

Nha Trang: Day 24

After a short flight to Nha Trang, we’ll arrive at our accommodation and head out for a truly unique experience. The mineral mud baths in Nha Trang really do sound crazy... but once you’re in you won’t want to get out! As much as it is great for your skin it’s great fun too!

Mui Ne: Day 25-26

Welcome to the beautiful beach town of Mui Ne, famous for its fishing villages and Sahara-like dunes. After exploring the town and sipping cocktails by the pool we’ll make our way to Vietnam’s very own Grand Canyon - ‘The Fairy Streams’. For some people this is the moment you have been waiting for...sandboarding and quad biking* on the epic sand dunes of Mui Ne...there is no better sunset than this one!

*Quad biking is optional and not included in the trip

Ho Chi Minh: Day 27-29

You’ve never seen so many motorbikes in your life! Let’s explore the city by foot and feast in the local flavours of the south before heading to the deeply moving National War Museum. Take a peek at the underground life of the infamous Viet Cong soldiers at the Cu Chi Tunnels. Learn how these warriors lived beneath the soil using tunnel networks...you can even explore the underground tunnel systems yourself. Get ready for our last night out together experiencing some of South East Asia’s best nightlife!

Before the Trip

Aim to Arrive Early

We always suggest arriving a day or 2 early to allow extra time to recover from that long flight. Of course it’s not essential but we have a bunch of ideas to spend that extra time, whether it’s wandering around, day trips or overnight adventures. We’ll also hook you up with other early arrivals to give you someone to hangout with.

Your Arrival Details

Once you’ve booked your flights, head to the Check In Area and update your arrival details. This will help us plan for your arrival and so that we can be waiting for you when you arrive.

Travel Insurance & Visa

It’s super important that you get yourself covered for your trip with us. It’s not expensive and certainly does give you and your loved ones peace of mind. Be sure to check any visa restrictions before you leave. If you’re unsure then let us know and we will do our best to help.

When I Arrive

Your Airport Pick Up

No matter what time you arrive, we will always be there to pick you up. All our trips include airport pick ups so be sure to update your arrivals details through the Check In Area

What time to arrive on Day 1

We always recommend arriving earlier rather than later on Day 1. This gives you time to nap, freshen up and recover from that flight. In the evening we will head out for dinner and drinks with the group.

Pre-Night Accommodation

You can add extra nights accommodation at the time of booking or by letting us know in the DM’s. We will get you booked in at the accommodation where we start to save any unnecessary moving around.

After the Trip

Getting Back to the Airport

If you want to be super organised, at the final stages of booking your trip, you can select the ‘Return Airport Transfer’ option. Whether it will be a taxi, ferry or a domestic flight we will have you safely back to the airport. If you just want to sort it whilst you’re there then your Group Leader will help you arrange your transport back to the airport after the trip.

Onward Travel

Don’t worry... you won’t be left on your own after the trip finishes. Some people are just on a short break from work and others are on a slightly longer backpacking adventure. Either way your Group Leader will help you plan anything from a return airport transfer to giving you a bunch of awesome ideas for the rest of your time in South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Extra Nights Accommodation

Looking to stay a little longer after the trip and need accommodation ideas? Or fancy extending your stay at our final stop? Let us know early and we can try our best to extend your stay so that you don’t have to worry!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I come alone?

Yes, absolutely. It’s very common for us to get solo travellers on our trips. As soon as you land in Thailand we will pick you up and introduce you to the other group members. It’s a great way to make new friends and share the adventure with like minded travellers.

Can I contact other people who have booked onto the same tour as me?

You sure can! Travelling is about meeting new people and sharing the adventure. We have a Facebook Group ‘The Feel Free Family’ where you can get chatting to other group members that have booked or others like you looking to book! Click HERE to join the group 🙂

Is it safe to travel South East Asia?

The answer is pretty simple…yes, Thailand and Vietnam are some of the safest countries to visit for both male and female travellers. They both hold a reputation for having some of the world’s most friendly people and are currently destinations sat on top of every backpackers bucket list. Travelling in numbers is always recommended rather than going alone.

What’s included in my Thailand & Vietnam tour?

Check out ‘The Details’ tab for a breakdown…but all accommodation, trips & activities, local guides & western group leader, transport and a bunch of meals are included. You only need to sort your flights to & from Thailand & Vietnam, get travel insurance and bring some spending money!

How much spending money do I need?

You don’t need much at all considering almost everything is included! We suggest no less than £600 to be safe…some people spend less and some more, it really depends on your spending habits. If you love shopping or prone to a few more big nights than the average person you could spend more. You can spend far less if you are tight with your budget but this kind of average works well for most.

Are flights to Thailand & Vietnam included in the price?

International flights to & from Thailand & Vietnam are not included in the tour price. Remember you will need to book a flight anytime on Day 15 from Chiang Mai - Hanoi. If you are unsure then drop us a message and we can help. We’ll be at the airport to meet you when you land and we offer return airport transfers if you want to go down the hassle free approach. This can all be selected during the booking process.

Which Airport to Arrive

When you arrive in Thailand you will either land in BKK (Suvarnabhumi International) or DMK (Don Mueang International). One of the crew will be waiting with a big smile to get you checked into our Bangkok accommodation.

Is This For You?

If playing with baby elephants in Thailand and sand boarding down Vietnam’s largest sand dunes for sunset gets you excited...this 1 month trip travelling Asia is definitely the one for you! Most people travel solo or others bring a friend, either way by the end of this South East Asia adventure you’ll have a bunch of new buddies for life.
