Sri Lanka is a country that has 4 seasons that all carry a monsoon period. We run trips between October and April as this generally allows us to avoid most of the rain and maximise our time exploring. When the monsoon showers do pass through they usually don’t hang around long and before you know it the sun is out and we will be back on the beach in no time!

We recommend not travelling Sri Lanka outside of these months to avoid multiple days of continuous rain.

For most travellers Sri Lanka is an easy country to visit with a simple ‘Visa on Arrival’ process. We recommend arranging your Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) prior to travel as this will reduce any complications on arrival.

It can be possible to enter without an ETA but not advised.
