Southeast Asia is the place dreams are made of. It’s all beautiful beaches, tropical jungle, heartwarming locals, adventure and relaxation. What could be better? Throw in a $0.25 beer and you have Vietnam! 🇻🇳 There is plenty here that fits with anyone’s ideal holiday or vacation, but some things are not to be missed. Here is the creme of the crop…the creme de la creme! You’ll kick yourself if you let any one of these amazing experiences pass you by.

Halong Bay

No trip to Vietnam is complete without a stop in one of the elite natural wonders of the world. This beautiful ocean paradise is full of tropical islands and emerald waters waiting to be explored. Hop on a boat to your soon-to-be favourite place in the world and take in the sights of a lifetime!

Top Tip: Jump in a kayak with your favourite travel buddies to see this stunning islands upclose and personal 🚣🏼‍♀️

Explore Hoi An

The second most popular place in Vietnam is without a doubt the awesome, bright and vibrant UNESCO-listed city of Hoi An. You’ll want to stay here for a few days to really make the most of this astonishing place, and all it has to offer…which is A LOT! There are cooking classes, bike rides, shopping sprees, beaches, wild nights out and walks through the colourful city streets. The only possible way you could do and see it all is to make sure you have someone in the know along for the ride 😉

Make sure to stop off at one of the local tailors to get a swanky new outfit! You'll look the business with a new cute top, cool party shirt or a full three piece suit if you want to really go BIG...the locals are pros and the prices are incredible 💰

Quad Biking

Hit the spectacular sand dunes of Mui Ne in style…on quad bikes of course 😎! These vehicles are dangerous so ALWAYS be careful as you leave your tracks in the sand. Check out your buddies in the rearview mirror as you set off in search of fantastic views, and run rings around the lot of them…safely of course!

Sunset Sandboarding

If the engines don’t do it for you, the sandboards will. Jump on a board instead and surf the sand all the way down to the bottom 🤙. It’s so much fun I can guarantee you’ll want to go straight back to the top and do it again! The cherry on top of the incredible desert dessert would be the beautiful sunset you see over the horizon. Make sure to put the boards down for a second and soak it all in…things don’t get much better than that.

Sit & soak in a mud bath

All that boarding and biking will leave you wanting a little R&R, so don’t worry…we’ve got you covered. A soothing mudbath will have you looking and feeling like a younger you in no time at all. Take a nap or simply lay there and let the warm mud work its magic 😌

Warning: This activity is incredibly addictive! There is a risk you may never want to step foot out of the mud!

Warning: This activity gives you high exposure to incredibly chilled vibes that could lead to unheard of levels of relaxation! Enter at your own risk...there is a chance you may never want to step foot out of the mud 😉

Tour the tunnels

When you visit a new country it’s important to soak up some of the culture and learn about the people and their history. Mix that in with unforgettable experiences with amazing friends and you have yourself a winner! The Cu Chi Tunnels are a blast from the past where you get to see how the famous Viet Cong kept the US military at arms bay, the tactics they used and how they lived during this time.

The only way to truly understand is to walk a mile in their shoes…and by walk we mean crawl! Work your way through one of the tunnels, and even dip into the secret entrances that the Viet Cong lived and hid in!

Load up the heavy artillery!

After seeing all the traps and tunnels it’s time to see the weapons! Lock and load some machine guns and dispense the ammunition in the nearby gun range. It’s a safe environment to shoot the kind of guns you only ever see in Arnold Schwarzenegger movies… you can even shout some of his epic one-liners first before unloading your rounds 💪🏻

Taste & cook the street food

The local food will have you wanting more and more! It. Is. Superb🤌🏼! My personal favourite is a classic Bahn Mi, but there is still so much to love and try. Pho, spring rolls and crispy pancakes are all incredible too…it’s making me hungry just thinking about it all 🤤. Why not learn from the best while you’re there and take a cooking class?! You’ll never have to leave all those incredible dishes behind if you’re able to make them yourself back home.

Food Tip: Hoi An is the best place to learn to cook vietnamese food. They'll make sure to teach you all those little secrets that make the flavours really POP!

Basket Boat Fishing

Speaking of food, why not try your hand at catching some? Only kidding! We do it for fun so it’s catch-and-release only, they’re not eaten. The basket boats are amazing to see so jump in, float around and see if you have the magic touch to catch some “lunch”. It’s an awesome authentic local experience, best had with a friend by your side if you ask us. That way you make sure you have an amazing time with lots of laughs along the way…even if you come up empty-handed.

Cruise the Hai Van Pass

Enjoy this stunning stretch of road and all the glorious natural views that come with it. The coastal road that twists and turns through the mountains is a must for anyone who steps foot onto Vietnamese soil. Made famous by Top Gear and enjoyed by many wanderers since…this road is something special. After taking all the mountain, jungle and ocean views in you’ll get to the end and want to do it all over again, and again.

Selfies, snaps and drinks breaks are some of the best reasons to stop for another opportunity to take in the glorious sights from high up. Who knows when you'll be back in this part of the world again?! Make the most of it while you're there.

Drink 25¢ beer

The best thing of all? Sitting down at the end of an awesome day and sipping on unbelievably cheap beers with all your friends as you recant the incredible time you just had. With Vietnam being one of, if not THE, cheapest places in the world for a cold one, it’s the best place to party without worrying about your bank account in the morning. You’ll have likely spent the same price as an average coffee back home by the time you come to check…not bad hey?! 🍻
